Leaf Movement

Leaves and foliage sounds are rarely just nature recordings in game audio. With the right design, the rustle of leaf material becomes something more abstract — a creature's attack whoosh, an alien environment ambience, a fantasy game's UI accent. 344 SFX - Leaf Movement is built around that dual purpose, covering both natural foley recordings and designed content that uses the same material in a completely different way.

The natural side covers continuous movement recordings of leaves, twigs, and branches in motion, with enough duration to loop or use as long event sounds. Individual impacts, short moves, pass-bys, and whooshes give you single-event foley options for footstep rustling, prop handling, and character movement through vegetation. The designed side of the library uses the leaf material as a source for more processed content: stereo ambience loops with a fantasy and sci-fi quality, sets of riser-whoosh-impact combinations, boom hit impact sets, slow whoosh pass-bys, and attack hit combos. These work as direct replacements for more synthetic game sounds where organic character is preferred.
